Commitment at every level

These are increasingly challenging times for what is already a highly competitive industry, and now more than ever it is important for manufacturers to be at the top of their game if they want to retain and grow their business.
A commitment to support and enhance the critical relationship between supplier, wholesaler and contractor remains at the heart of our business operation. Working in partnership with our customers and professional contractor end users, we continue to develop a broad range of products and solutions that guarantee quality, reliability, compliance and competitive pricing, and are delivered through the reliable wholesale channel.
The range of products available from across the group is vast, encompassing Click wiring accessories and smart wiring accessories, Ovia lighting and lighting controls, ESP security and fire protection, Unicrimp cable accessories and Sangamo heating controls and time switches.
The applications for these products are wide ranging, from domestic and residential projects to larger and more complex industrial and commercial developments. It is this latter sector where much of our focus has been recently as we continue to develop an ever more comprehensive range of high quality, features-packed and competitively priced products suitable for specification for the commercial sector.
Whatever size of project, customer or end user, we offer the same level of investment and commitment – providing access to a range of high-quality, value-for-money products backed up by good local stocks, excellent delivery service and the ability to offer detailed product support via trained staff and installer training.
A proactive marketing effort ensures that all our audiences are targeted with engaging, informative and educational content, whether product-led or industry focused. Valuable feedback from contractors is actively sought out and plays a key role in any product development undertaken.
As a group, we have always put great emphasis on the importance of training and development as part of our service to our customers and contractors. Having invested time and money to harness the latest technologies to develop cutting-edge products, we want to ensure that every opportunity is provided to understand how the products work and how they can be utilised to best advantage on a project.
We offer a range of training opportunities designed to keep customers up to date with the latest products, technologies and legislation, including courses aimed at contractors and wholesalers looking to expand their knowledge of home automation, security and fire protection systems, for example. To help contractors understand a range of issues that they will come across on their day to day work, we have a number of CPD training modules available.
It has been a particularly challenging time for the industry. However, the UK construction sector has just reported its sharpest rise in almost five years in July, and this is encouraging news for all involved in the building process.
